About The Radnor
The Radnor is essentially a country village in a stunning National Trust model Victorian village on the Coleshill and Buscot Estates. The pub has been supported by investment from a number of local business folk who are keen to see a village pub survive for the community.
Our vision is to run a small country pub, offering great seasonal produce, to people who simply love food and drink'.
We love food, but we also know running a pub is hard work, so we have to enjoy what we do and what we produce. To keep us motivated our menu is small and seasonal. It keeps us thinking and hopefully you returning.
When possible some our produce comes direct from our families organic farms in Purton and from local artisan produces. There's an abundance of great food to be had right on our doorstep, so it makes sense to use it.
Our unique feature is our hand built ultimate charcoal Harrison oven. The Harrison charcoal oven is an oven unlike any other. It is an extremely high performing, charcoal oven that can also use wood. As such it brings a creative fresh approach to traditional pub cooking.
Our restaurant is tiny, because we are not mass caterers, so we do recommend you reserve a table. At The Radnor you can enjoy a pint of great local ale, sip a small batch gin & tonic, book into our restaurant or in summer enjoy a fire bowl BBQ in the beer garden.
